For Installers

You pay nothing to be listed and nothing per lead. You pay a percentage of contracts you actually sign, after you sign them.

What it costs

Ten percent of the signed contract price is the standard. Twelve percent buys the county outright, which means every homeowner in it comes to you. Eight percent is the shared rate, where you are one of three companies the request goes to.

What you have to pass

All seven checks. Active license, insurance and comp in force, a real permit history, no pattern of suits or complaints, active corporate standing, and a contract that puts a price in writing before work starts. We check before you are listed and at least twice a year afterward.

What we ask beyond that

Answer the phone. Put the price in writing before anyone signs. If a homeowner reports a problem, deal with it. We publish complaint rates, so the companies that do this well end up looking better than the ones that do not, which is the entire point.

Counties sell once. When one is gone it is gone until the company holding it gives it up or fails a check.
