The Record
Every company profile on this site publishes two numbers: how many homeowners we sent them, and how many of those homeowners came back to us with a problem.
We publish the second number even when it makes a company we work with look bad, because a complaint rate nobody can see is just a marketing claim. We do not show a rate until a company has taken at least ten referrals from us, since below that the number tells you nothing.
What counts as a complaint
A homeowner telling us something went wrong. Not a lost argument, not a difference of opinion about color. If the company fixed it after we stepped in, the record says that too, because a company that fixes its mistakes is worth more than a company that never gets reported.
Photos
Send them. We look at every one. Bad flashing, a gap you can see daylight through, and stucco that was never patched are all things a photograph settles faster than an argument does.
