How This Works

For you it is free

You tell us your county and what you need. We pass it to installers in that county who passed all seven checks. They call you, they quote you, you decide. You are never charged for any of that.

How we get paid

The installer pays us a percentage of the contract, but only if you sign one. We would rather say that plainly than pretend this site runs on goodwill.

Why that does not bend the results

Because the check comes first and the money comes second. A company that fails a check cannot pay to pass it, and the complaint rate we publish for every company is the same number whether they are paying us the exclusive rate or the shared one.

What we stay out of

Pricing. We do not set it, quote it, or guess at it for you. What we do require is that the price is agreed in writing before work starts, which is where most of the fights we hear about actually begin.
